Armed with our paints and brushes, we began decorative painting and sculptural installations at the brand new Victoria's Secret flagship on Michigan Ave...

The majority of painting in Chicago consisited mainly of delicate Trompre L'oeil line work, designed by Geoff in collaboration Victoria's Secret, on fitting room doors and interior walls.

After the fitting rooms, it was time to install the enormous pink ribbon lampshade made back at the studio and shipped to the site. The lampshade is one of the first things you notice upon entering the space.

And finally, an intricate handwrought wire chandelier, made by a very talented Brooklyn artist, is hung in the center of the pink shade.

In addition to the painting and giant lampshade, other ribbon wrapped chandeliers, hand painted trompe l'oeil tablecloths, intricate hat boxes, lampshades, and chairs made at the studio by the talented production crew were later installed after Geoff, Erin and Brian returned to NY. A few weeks later on October 22nd, the Victoria's Secret flagship opened to great fanfare with appearances by celebrities and three VS angels! A similar scope of work was performed for Victoria's Secret at the Hawaii location at Ala Moana, and in the NYC Soho location. A separate post will highlight details from the Soho project

Tick Tock Tower

Tick by tock, block by block, a new stainless steel time tower designed by Geoff for Audemars Piguet goes up on the manicured greens of the exlcusive Liberty National golfcourse in Jersey City, New Jersey.

A few days later, a fourth block was added to the sculpture at the request of Audemars Piguet President, Francois-Henry Bennahmias.

Independence Day River Picnic to benefit the Thomas Cole Historic Site

To celebrate the four hundredth anniversary of Henry Hudson discovering his namesake river,
The Thomas Cole National Historic Site at Cedar Grove held a benefit on the fourth of July.
Geoff designed and built a large frame both to capture a living hudson river landscape, and to be used as a photo-op for guests.





Geoff donated his services to design the event as well, held on the beautiful property of Dick May and Lisa Fox Martin in Catskill.


Design included the selection of patriotic red and white striped table cloths, white chairs, and in classic clay pots, bright red geraniums donated by Story's in Palenville.

Geoff loaned his giant 48 star flag for the decor in the tent...

As the moon rises over the Hudson, a scottish bagpipe band played patriotic songs before the rocket's red glare began sparkling above Catskill!
