A Bull Market
To celebrate the IPO launch of JD.com (a Chinese e-commerce company), we were asked to create a large sculpture of a golden bull for a celebration in Times Square! The bull needed to be produced quickly and light-weight so our team of talented artists and engineers devised a method achieving the desired result. In the photos below, you can catch a glimpse of the sculpture's construction and debut! This popular bull even made its way onto a CNBC broadcast!

Sunglass Hut: Aerospace
For Sunglass Hut's Ray Ban 'Moonwalk' window, we were asked to create a life-sized, floating astronaut jumping around a moon like surface with a large photo blow-up of the earth behind for thier flagship store on 5th Ave. The astronaut's body was created by one of our own genius pattern-makers and a spacesuit was fitted over the sculpted form. The astronaut was hung in the window from a motor to replicate a slight up and down, side to side floating motion. We also created a grouping of glowing moons to showcase the Sunglasses.

Magnetic Magic
For a dramatic and modern entrance logo for the Liberty Blue Group, GHS was asked create a powder coated 1/4 inch thick aluminum cutout sign that was mounted to a pre-existing steel wall. Large magnets were epoxied to the back of the aluminum to keep the sign in place. Super strong magnets were used to keep the elements in their proper places during normal daily activities (and to discourage any late night spelling mischief).

Tick Tock Tower
Tick by tock, block by block, a new stainless steel time tower designed by Geoff for Audemars Piguet goes up on the manicured greens of the exlcusive Liberty National golfcourse in Jersey City, New Jersey.

A few days later, a fourth block was added to the sculpture at the request of Audemars Piguet President, Francois-Henry Bennahmias.

There's no face like Gnome!
To celebrate the opening of the swanky new High Line Park on Manhattan's West Side, Hugo Boss asked us to design and build a window for their 14th Street store in the Meat-Packing District that somehow incorporated garden gnomes. Geoff presented several ideas and the hands-down favorite was a giant gnome head made of flowers.

Inspired in part by Jeff Koons' 'Puppy' and other imagery from the worldwide devotion to gnomes, the sculpture features silk geraniums, daisies, asters, ferns, birds and butterflies. Sitting on a hillock of artificial 'lawn', a customized garden gnome nurtures his personal masterpiece with a watering can...
